Puppy & Kitten Care
Bringing home a new puppy or kitten is exciting, and early care is essential for their health and happiness. At Vet in the City, we provide comprehensive health checks, vaccinations, and expert advice on nutrition, behaviour, and neutering to give your young pet the best start in life.

Bringing home a new puppy or kitten is always an exciting time, and we’re here to help you give them the best start to life. We recommend vaccinating your young pets to protect them against common diseases—see our vaccinations section for full details.
Your puppy or kitten will begin their primary course of vaccinations, with the first set administered by one of our experienced vets, Martin or Niven. During this appointment, the vet will perform a full physical examination, administer the vaccination, and answer any questions you may have about nutrition, behaviour, socialisation, neutering, and more.
The primary vaccination course often requires 1–3 separate injections over a few weeks. The second and third doses (if required) are carried out by one of our Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs). These appointments are also a great opportunity to ask questions—our team is always happy to provide guidance and support for your new family member.
