Fast, accurate diagnostics are essential for effective veterinary care. At Vet in the City, our in-house laboratory allows us to analyse samples quickly, helping us diagnose and begin treatment without unnecessary delay.
At Vet in the City, we have a dedicated laboratory space equipped with state-of-the-art, modern diagnostic technology, including advanced AI-assisted systems. This enables us to carry out a wide range of tests on-site, providing rapid and reliable results when your pet needs them most.
Our in-house laboratory is equipped to process a variety of samples, including blood, urine, and cytology (cell samples).
Using advanced haematology and biochemistry analysers, alongside AI-supported cytology technology, we are able to assess your pet’s health quickly and accurately. In many cases, results are available within hours, allowing us to make informed decisions and begin treatment without delay.
For more complex or specialised testing—such as histology (tissue analysis)—we work with trusted external laboratories. This allows us to access a wider range of diagnostic services while maintaining the same high standard of care.
When testing may be needed
Laboratory testing may be recommended as part of a routine health check, pre-operative screening, or to investigate signs of illness.
