Most dogs receive a monthly chewable treatment that protects against fleas, ticks, mites, roundworms, and lungworm. This is supported by a quarterly tapeworm treatment to ensure complete internal parasite coverage.
External parasites
Fleas, ticks, and mites are highly contagious and easily passed between animals. Flea infestations, in particular, often go unnoticed—only a small proportion live on your pet, while the majority exist in the home environment, including bedding, carpets, and furnishings.
Internal parasites
Worming is just as important, even when your pet appears healthy. Roundworm, tapeworm, hookworm, whipworm, and lungworm can all live within your pet without obvious symptoms, sometimes causing long-term damage to the respiratory, digestive, and cardiovascular systems.
In some cases—particularly lungworm—untreated infection can be life-threatening. Certain parasites can also pose a risk to human health, making consistent prevention essential.
